El Salvador Surf Lesson and Board Rental Rates

Board Rental - $10 for a full day
Surf Lesson - $20 per person for two-hour lesson with experienced surf instructor
 
 
Are you new to surfing?  Are you experienced but want to polish your skills? Either way, we offer great options for learning to surf in El Salvador.  Whatever your skill level or interests, we can provide you with a fine rental board or let you try several during your visit.  We'll match you up for surf lessons with a local expert who is well experienced in surf instruction. Even if you're a complete beginner, you'll soon know the basics of padding and wave catching and be ready for fun.  We have boards available for rent that are ideal for learners and will help you get the most time standing on your board. 
 
Taking a surf lesson is also a great way to get to know the local surf breaks and meet some of the local surfers and other visitors from around the world.
 
The Best Season for Beginners
You can learn to surf at any time of the year.  But, November to February offers ideal conditions for beginners:  two to three-foot waves with consistent offshore winds.  Since it's not the peak season, you'll also find smaller crowds and lower rates for accommodations and other services. 
 
 
Our Instructors
Our featured instructors are brothers Jose "Bamba" and Geovanni Diaz. They are two of the best surfers in El Salvador and have been giving lessons for many years. Lessons are either one-on-one or in small groups, with a maximum of four persons per surf instructor.  Each of our instructors is a very accomplished and experienced surfer, and they even speak a little "surf English."  You'll be amazed at how much you'll learn and how quickly you'll see your own skills improve.
